If you know what dj you want to book, we will require a 50% deposit of the dj’s performance fee. If you know what setup or add-ons you want, we require a 50% deposit for that also.
Absolutely. First and foremost, it’s important to book the DJ for your event. You can always re-visit or change your setup options at a later time. If you are also unsure what dj you want, but want to make sure that your date is secured, please call the office to make arrangements.
We have a firm policy that all balances are to be paid in full no later than 7 days before the event date.
As soon as you know what you want, it’s best to secure our services, as we generally start receiving inquiries almost 2-3 years in advance. Note that dates are booked on a first deposit given basis.
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage all of our clients to come meet us for a consultation. Having a good connection with your DJ can make all the difference in hiring the right DJ for your event.
The preferred performance fee for each DJ varies based on their personal skill set and experience. The performance fees may vary seasonally and dependant on various factors such as availability or the event being on weekend, weekday or holiday.
In regards to equipment, we do our best to maintain fair competitive and transparent pricing. Regarding DJ fees, it is difficult to compare one DJs performance fee against another DJ. We stand by the worth established in our DJs. Their individual fees are a fair testament to their value, skill and experience.
We recommend you meet with us, so that we can work out a packaged rate for all of your events.
Our DJs specialize across multiple genres. We work with you to determine and understand your music preferences so that our DJs can design the music selection to best cater to what you want played at your event.
This is your event. We will design and best execute our services as to how you want.
We do not sell any music or provide just music for events. However, we do have various “DJ Sets,” and “Mixtapes” available for FREE download off our social platforms.
The number of people at the event will depend on the type of setup and equipment required. For most common events, normally the DJ will be accompanied by a technical assistant.
Should the venue allow it, we have no problems using the venue’s sound system should we deem it adequate. Otherwise, we will let you know if we may need to bring our own system. Please note, if we are using the venue’s sound system, be aware that some venues may charge you (the client) a “plug-in” or “user fee” for an outside DJ company to use their sound system.
Some venues will have a surcharge or an additional fee if you are hiring an outside DJ company that will be utilizing the sound equipment belonging to the venue. This amount is at the sole discretion of the venue. The fee has nothing to do with us, and nor do we keep any of this fee.
We do not get involved in this matter as this fee is between the client and the venue, and must be paid by the client to the venue.
You would secure the DJ’s performance fee, and will be required to cover all costs associated with travel and accommodation. There may be costs required for sourcing equipment locally. Depending where the event is, work permits may be required.
For as long as you have contracted us for. However, this may be dependent on how long the venue will permit.
